| The Erosion Driftwood Lamp is crafted by first collecting aged teak, mahogany, or any other tropical hardwood which has been weathered, washed, and left ashore after Tsunamis and tropical storms in the Pacific Ocean. Each eroded driftwood piece is then hand-rubbed with eco-friendly, VOC free Rubio Monocoat oil to restore and protect the natural beauty of the wood. After the wood is revitalized, outer gaps of the porous natural structure are filled in with a translucent poly resin that forms a cover for the long-lasting energy efficient LED bulbs. The Erosion Driftwood lamp provides ample light through the sealed holes, and it is mounted atop a hand-forged iron base. Eco-friendly in all aspects of design, form, and function, each accent lamp is truly one-of-a-kind. |
